Eligibility

  1. The Black & McDonald Centennial Scholarships are open to all full-time employees’ dependents, including all full-time salaried and full-time hourly employees’ dependents.
  2. Dependents include biological children, legal adoptees, stepchildren or children for whom the employee is the legal guardian or ward.
  3. Applicant must be enrolling as a full-time student in an accredited 2- or 4-year college / university / trade program.
  4. Applicant must be age 25 or under at the application campaign deadline.
  5. Applicant’s parent / legal guardian must be an active B&M employee at the time of the award distribution.
  6. Applicant’s parent / legal guardian must be an employee paid directly by B&M, contracted employees are not eligible.
  7. Applicant’s parent / legal guardian must be employed by B&M for at least one year as of April 10, 2023.
  8. Applicants must reapply and compete annually for the scholarship. The scholarship is not renewed.
